Julius wasn't always Lucius. Julius is the kind-hearted and battle-crazy Wizard King we've come to love, while Lucius is his dark alter ego with some serious plans.

Nope! Julius and Lucius are different entities. Julius Novachrono is the 28th Wizard King, while Lucius Zogratis is the eldest sibling of the Zogratis family and the true mastermind behind many events.

Basically, Julius is like Clark Kent and Lucius is like Superman, if Superman was evil and also had really cool time magic.

Nah, Julius is Julius, and Lucius is Lucius! They ain't the same person.

I was shook when I found out! Julius has a darker side as Lucius, but they weren't always the same person in the story.
