In Tears of the Kingdom, you can use a wide range of amiibos to unlock various goodies. While Nintendo hasn't released a comprehensive list, players have confirmed that amiibos from the Zelda series, like Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf, work for sure. They often give you exclusive items or help in the game. Plus, amiibos from other series can also work, but they might just give you random loot.

Honestly, just slap any amiibo onto your Switch and see what happens. It's like a loot box, but cooler because it's Zelda!

Most Zelda series amiibos give you something neat in Tears of the Kingdom, but don't expect your Mario amiibo to pull out a Master Sword or anything. Still, they'll drop something, so go wild!

I used my Link amiibo from the Smash Bros series and got some awesome gear for Link in Tears of the Kingdom. So, definitely worth trying out your Zelda series amiibos!

If you're a Legend of Zelda player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
