Believe it or not, 'Devilman Crybaby' had a big impact on Chainsaw Man. The dark, chaotic world and devil motifs in Devilman Crybaby really seem to resonate with Fujimoto's work!

Chainsaw Man creator Tatsuki Fujimoto has cited the anime 'Neon Genesis Evangelion' as a significant inspiration. Evangelion's dark themes and psychological depth clearly influenced Fujimoto's storytelling style!

Oh, definitely gotta mention 'Berserk' too. The raw, intense action scenes and gritty atmosphere from Berserk can be seen in Chainsaw Man's fight sequences.

Some folks say Chainsaw Man has shades of 'Parasyte - The Maxim'. Both feature human protagonists merging with supernatural beings to fight otherworldly threats. Coincidence? I think not!
