Dark Pokémon in Pokémon GO are essentially Shadow Pokémon, which are creatures used by Team Rocket in the game. They have a dark aura and higher attack stats but suffer from lower defense.

Dark Pokémon? You mean the ones that look like they've had a run-in with Team Rocket? Yep, those are your Shadow Pokémon.

They are Shadow Pokémon captured by Team Rocket. You can purify them to boost their stats and make them less... dark.

Shadow Pokémon! They’re the sinister, edgy versions of regular Pokémon, corrupted by Team Rocket for their evil schemes.

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
