Diffusion is like when you spray perfume in a room and it spreads out evenly. Osmosis is a similar idea but for water, where it moves through a membrane from a place with less stuff dissolved in it to a place with more stuff. Both processes are super important in biology!

Diffusion happens when particles move from a high concentration to a low concentration鈥攍ike sugar dissolving in coffee. Osmosis, on the other hand, is water moving through a semi-permeable membrane to where there's more solute. Simple as that!

Diffusion is about substances spreading out, while osmosis specifically involves water moving through a membrane. Think of osmosis as water's quest to balance things out!

Diffusion is particles spreading out; osmosis is water moving through a membrane. Easy peasy!

Diffusion and osmosis are just nature's way of leveling the playing field鈥攚hether it's particles or water.
