They're like Pokémon on steroids! Mega Evolutions make your Pokémon temporarily stronger and more awesome looking. You get the energy you need from Mega Raids.
From my experience, Mega Pokémon can really turn the tide in battles and raids. My Mega Charizard has helped me dominate more than a few! You need Mega Energy to evolve them, which you can get by completing specific tasks or Mega Raids.
