What are MTG Cards Made Of?
TargetingDirt路7 months agoMTG cards are pretty much made of paper, but it's not your typical printer paper. We're talking high-grade cardstock, folks. Not just any paper! MTG cards are made from a special kind of cardstock that's designed to stand up to a lot of handling. They're coated too, which helps protect the artwork from fading and the card itself from getting too bent out of shape.
Cardstock and dreams, my friend. Mostly cardstock, though. It's thick, durable, and has that nice glossy finish to keep your cards looking sharp.
Just high-quality cardstock, nothing too fancy. They do have a protective coating to help them last longer, though.
