Honestly, just print monochrome (black & white) energy cards. They're essential for gameplay, and you won't miss out on color since they're pretty basic in design. Plus, your ink cartridge will thank you.

All cards use the same amount of ink, it's the printer's problem, not the cards'.

If you're aiming to save on ink, go for common or basic Pokemon cards. They typically have simpler designs without the flashy backgrounds and holographic textures that their rarer counterparts boast. So, not only do you save ink, but also keep your printer's sanity intact.

For ink-friendly options, check out Trainer cards. Many have minimalistic art compared to Pokemon cards, so they're lighter on the ink usage while still being super useful in your deck.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
