They're basically fancy batteries. Collect enough of them, plug 'em into the Star Control machine in Nuka-World, and boom, you're the king of the arcade. Plus, you get to score yourself some neat gear.

Just decoration. Kidding! They're super important for the Nuka-World expansion. Without spoiling much, collecting Star Cores is like a treasure hunt that pays off with unlocking some of the best gear in the game. Happy hunting!

Useless. Just toss 'em. (Psst, don't actually do that; they're key to dominating Nuka-World. Trust.)

Star Cores in Fallout 4 are for the Nuka-World DLC quest called 'Star Control'. You need to collect them to repair and gain control of the park's mainframe, which lets you power up different sections of the park and get some cool rewards. The more you collect, the more stuff you unlock, including a super sweet power armor!

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
