Pulling a rare Pokemon card is all about luck, but generally, it's estimated you've got around a 1 in 5 chance of pulling a rare or better card from a standard booster pack. Of course, certain sets and special packs might have different odds, but that's the ballpark figure for most.

Super rare? Think hitting a pinata with a twig. Most booster packs have a guaranteed 'rare' card, but if we're talking ultra rares or secrets, you're looking at more like 1 in 24 packs or even less for the really good stuff. Keep those expectations realistic!

Honestly, it's all RNG (random number generation). Sometimes you hit the jackpot on the first pack; other times, you might as well be searching for a needle in a haystack. Just enjoy the thrill of the hunt!

Rare cards? Easy. Now, if you want something like a Rainbow Rare or a Secret Rare, that's where things get spicy. You might have to go through dozens of packs for one of those beauties. Think of it as the lottery of the Pokemon world.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
