The demon ranks? Oh, we’ve got the Lower Moons and the Upper Moons. Lower Moons 1-6 and Upper Moons 1-6. Upper Moons are the big bads you really want to avoid!

In Demon Slayer, demons are ranked into the Twelve Kizuki, also known as the Twelve Demon Moons. They are divided into Upper Moons (1 to 6) and Lower Moons (1 to 6). The Upper Moons are the strongest and serve directly under the demon king, Muzan Kibutsuji.

It’s simple: Lower Moons are ranked 6 to 1, and Upper Moons are ranked 6 to 1. Upper Moons are the elite demons.

The strongest demons are the Upper Moons (ranked 1 through 6) and the weaker ones are the Lower Moons (again ranked 1 through 6).
