Gold-plated Pokemon cards can vary widely in value, depending on factors like rarity, condition, and demand. Some of the Burger King promo cards from 1999 might not fetch as much as you'd hope, hovering around $20 to $100 on eBay in good condition. However, newer, limited edition gold-plated cards released as part of special collections can be worth much more, potentially hundreds or even thousands if they're rare enough!

Had a gold-plated Pikachu I found in my attic, threw it up on eBay and got a solid $60 for it! Condition wasn’t perfect, but seems like there’s definitely a market for these. Key is finding the right buyer who values what you've got.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
