As someone who actually found a 1st Edition Charizard in their attic: don't give up hope. That card paid off my student loans. Always check your old collections, folks!
Honestly, it's all about Charizard. If it breathes fire and looks angry, it's probably worth a lot. Also, look out for any cards that have '1st Edition' stamped on them. Those are like the first slice of pizza - everyone wants it.
