The Holy Grail for collectors is the Pikachu Illustrator card, known for its rarity and the lore behind its distribution. Following that, first edition Base Set Charizard cards are like finding gold due to their icon status and demand. Don't forget the Shadowless cards either; they lack the shadow border around the image, making them super rare and sought after!

Pikachu Illustrator card is overrated. Black Lotus from MTG is where it's at. Oh, wrong game? My bad. Still, not all that glitters is gold. Play for love, not for money.

As someone who actually found a 1st Edition Charizard in their attic: don't give up hope. That card paid off my student loans. Always check your old collections, folks!

Honestly, it's all about Charizard. If it breathes fire and looks angry, it's probably worth a lot. Also, look out for any cards that have '1st Edition' stamped on them. Those are like the first slice of pizza - everyone wants it.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
