Quick tip: ALWAYS have a balanced mix of Pokemon, Trainers, and Energy. Also, using too many types of Pokemon might backfire because it can make your deck inconsistent. Stick to 1-3 types for best synergy!

Honestly, just stick to 60 cards, avoid having more than 4 copies of the same card (excluding basic Energy), and you're golden. Keep it simple!

For your Pokemon TCG deck, the main rule is it must have exactly 60 cards. No more, no less. You can include any combination of Pokemon, Trainer, and Energy cards but remember, you can't have more than 4 of any card with the same name, except basic Energy cards - stack as many of those as you want. Also, think about balance; too many Pokemon and not enough Energy cards (or vice versa) could mess up your game plan!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
