Vintage Pokemon cards are basically the golden oldies of Pokemon TCG. They're the cards your older siblings or even parents might have collected back in the day. Not only do they ooze nostalgia, but some of them can be worth a pretty penny too, especially if they're in mint condition.

Honestly, if it's old enough to make you say, "Wow, I remember when..." it's probably vintage. But in the Pokemon TCG community, 'vintage' specifically means cards from the first few sets ever released. Yes, even those cards with the slightly off-center art and funky translations.

Vintage Pokemon cards refer to the older cards from the Pokemon Trading Card Game, typically from the original sets released in the late '90s and early 2000s. These cards are highly sought after by collectors for their nostalgia, rarity, and sometimes for their power in the game. Think first edition Base Set, Jungle, Fossil, and Team Rocket editions. They're like the OGs of the Pokemon TCG world!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
