MTG, or Magic The Gathering, is owned by Wizards of the Coast, which in turn is a subsidiary of Hasbro. Hasbro is a giant in the toy and board game industry, so in essence, MTG is under the umbrella of businesses that Hasbro owns. Wizards of the Coast directly manages MTG, focusing on both the physical card game and its digital version, Magic The Gathering Arena.

Short answer: MTG is part of Wizards of the Coast, which is owned by Hasbro. So, big ol' Hasbro runs the show.

Not quite a business 'owned' by MTG, but Wizards of the Coast is the mastermind behind MTG and they make sure it keeps evolving since 1993. Owned by Hasbro, which means it's in good hands with a company that knows a thing or two about games!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
