Definitely aim for those in Mint condition. Cards free of scratches, with sharp edges, no bends, and brilliant colors. Basically, the closer to pulling it right out of a pack, the better. That's your golden ticket to a high grade.

Honestly, if it looks pretty and shiny, send it in. Sometimes you get surprised by what grades well!

Mint or near mint for sure. But don't discount cards with slight imperfections; sometimes they still fetch a good grade. Collectors and grading services can be more forgiving than you think.
