You can use the Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PS4/PS5 controllers with the Steam Deck. They all work great!

I'm using the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller with my Steam Deck, and it works like a charm via Bluetooth!

Honestly, just about any Bluetooth controller will work. Plug-and-play wired controllers are good, too.
