Almost any controller that works with your PC should work fine with the Steam Deck. This includes Xbox, PlayStation, and even Switch Pro controllers. Steam Deck's flexibility is one of its strong suits, allowing you to use Bluetooth to connect most wireless controllers or you can go old school and use a USB-C adapter for wired connections. Happy gaming!

I've been using my PS5 controller with my Steam Deck over Bluetooth and it's flawless. It's pretty cool that Steam supports so many different controllers. Makes it easy to switch between them depending on what I feel like playing.

Just use the built-in ones, honestly. They're designed for the Deck and work best.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
