A stronger focus on consistent pacing would've done wonders. Some parts of the anime felt rushed, while others dragged on longer than they needed to.

Better character development for some of the supporting characters could've made a big difference. Some were introduced with potential but sadly got sidelined.

More screentime for Uta and the Clowns. Those guys are mysteriously cool and deserved more spotlight!

Honestly, sticking closer to the manga would have made Tokyo Ghoul way better! The anime diverges quite a bit, especially in the latter seasons, which left some fans a little puzzled.

Hot take: It's already amazing as it is. Not all adaptations have to be perfect replicas of the source material, y'know?

If you're a Tokyo Ghoul fan, you need to download the Playbite app!
