Technically, you don't *need* dice to play MTG, but they sure do make life easier. Most players keep a couple of six-sided dice (d6) handy for tracking small changes in life points or counters. For bigger changes or tracking larger numbers, a twenty-sided die (d20) comes in super handy, especially those spindown life counters that help you keep track of your life total in a more organized way. And if you're really getting fancy, some folks use twelve-sided (d12) or even ten-sided dice (d10) for specific counters or effects. It's like a dice buffet, choose what you fancy!

I always carry a bunch of d6s and a d20 in my MTG bag. The d6s are perfect for +1/+1 counters and the d20 for life. Once played a game where we used a d100 for a massive life gain... epic!

Just grab a d20 and call it a day. Keeps things simple.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
