In the Pokemon TCG, there are a few main types of cards you'll come across: Basic Pokemon cards, which are your starting point; Evolution cards, which let you upgrade your Basic Pokemon; Trainer cards, including Items, Supporters, and Stadiums, that provide various benefits; Energy cards, needed to power your Pokemon's moves; and Special cards, like EX/GX or V cards, that have unique abilities and are super powerful. Each type plays a crucial role in the game!

Honestly, you just need to know about EX and GX cards. Those are the ones that'll win you games and make your friends jealous. The rest are just filler.

Don't forget about the shiny Secret Rares and Full Art cards! They're like the crown jewels of any collection. Super rare and super cool.

There are basically three types of Pokemon cards - Pokemon, Trainer, and Energy. But if you wanna get fancy, Pokemon cards can further be categorized into Basic, Stage 1 and Stage 2 evolutions, and then there are those shiny, rare ones like GX, EX, and V cards that everyone's after. Trainer cards help you out with bonuses, and Energy cards are what make your Pokemon go vroom vroom.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
