The icons on Snapchat help tell you the status of your Snaps. A filled arrow means your Snap was sent, an unfilled arrow means it was opened, and a filled square means you've received a Snap. There's a colorful code too: red for photos, purple for videos, and blue for chats.

Icons help show what鈥檚 happening with your messages on Snapchat. The different colors and shapes offer quick insights into whether your Snap has been sent, delivered, or opened.

Basically, red icons are for Snaps without sound, purple for Snaps with sound, and blue for chats. It鈥檚 like a secret code!
