The numbers on Pokemon cards are kinda like a secret code that tells you everything you need to know about the card! First off, the big number at the bottom tells you the card's unique identification in its set, like '102/149'. The first number is the card's spot in the set, and the second is how many cards are in that set. If there's a letter after the numbers, like 'a' or 'b', it means there are alternative versions of that card. Also, some cards have a symbol next to the numbers telling you the rarity - circle for common, diamond for uncommon, and star for rare. Pretty cool, huh?

Honestly, I don't pay much attention to the numbers. I just collect the ones with the coolest artwork!

It's just a catalog system, nothing fancy. The first number is the card's position in the series, and the second shows how many cards are in that series. Symbols indicate rarity.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
