The bars on Pokemon in Pokemon GO show their CP (Combat Power) arc, which indicates how strong your Pokemon is in battle.

The bars measure your phone's signal strength while playing. No signal, no Pikachu!

When you see a bar on a gym, it's showing the motivation level of the defending Pokemon in that gym. Keep it high, and your team stays in control!

As a trainer who's battled countless times, I can tell you those bars often mean how close your Pokemon is to max CP. Keep leveling up!

Honestly, does it even matter what the bars mean as long as you're catching 'em all?

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
