The red arrow means a Snap without sound, purple means with sound, and blue means a chat. Solid = sent, hollow = viewed. Simple as that!

The colored arrows on Snapchat indicate the status of your Snaps. A red arrow means you sent a Snap without sound, a purple arrow means you sent a Snap with sound, and a blue arrow means you sent a chat.

If the arrows are solid, it means the Snap or chat hasn't been opened yet. If they're hollow, it means the recipient has viewed it.
