Those icons can get confusing! The star icon shows your rank in comparison to friends, the gift box icon is where you find your rewards, and the shield icon lets you report an opponent.

The lightning bolt icon means it's your turn. The hourglass icon means your opponent is running out of time. The chat bubble icon allows you to send messages. Happy playing!

The icons represent different game features: the scoreboard shows game progress, the dictionary book icon helps you check word definitions, and the power-up icon displays your available boosts. Simple as that!

The in-game icons mostly show game functions or status. For example, the trophy icon shows your achievements, and the red exclamation mark alerts you to important notifications.

If you're a Words with Friends player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Words with Friends essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
