Short and sweet: It's the card where everything but the Pokemon picture shines. Think of it as a disco ball in card form, minus the Pokemon pic.

A reverse foil Pokemon card literally sparkles but in a unique way. Instead of just the artwork being shiny, the entire card background shines while the actual Pokemon illustration does not. It's like the opposite of a regular foil card where only the picture area is holographic. So, if you pick up a card and everything but the critter in the middle is glimmering, congrats, you've got yourself a reverse foil!

Honestly, sometimes they just look like someone spilled glitter all over the card except for the Pokemon itself. Not complaining, though; they look pretty cool.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
