'Away' on Steam? That's just the user's way of saying, 'I'm taking a little break, but leave a message!' It's like setting your phone on silent. You can see things happening, but you're not responding.

When someone's status is 'Away' on Steam, it means they're logged in but not actively engaging with the platform. Maybe they've stepped away from their computer or are just not interacting with the app at the moment. It's kinda like saying, 'Hey, I'm here, but not really here.',

Honestly, 'Away' on Steam doesn't mean they're away. I set mine to 'Away' when I'm gaming and don't want buddies to disturb me. It's the perfect 'Do Not Disturb' sign.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
