'Burn' means your Pokemon is in trouble! Takes extra damage each turn unless you're lucky with a coin flip. Not as cuddly as it sounds.

In the world of Pokemon Cards, 'Burn' is a special condition. Think of it like your Pokemon got a little too close to a Charizard's flame breath. In game terms, a Burned Pokemon takes damage between turns. At the start of each player's turn, before they draw, they flip a coin. If heads, the Pokemon heals off the Burn, no harm no foul. But if tails, the Pokemon takes 20 damage. Keep some Burn Heals handy!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
