Cascade is an epic ability in Magic The Gathering that basically lets you get a free spell! When you cast a spell with Cascade, you reveal cards from the top of your deck until you reveal a nonland card that costs less. You can cast that card without paying its mana cost, then put the rest on the bottom of your deck in a random order. It's like a mini-lottery where you're almost always winning!

Cascade means you're playing the lottery and winning. Every. Single. Time. You cast a spell, then reveal cards till you hit a cheaper one to cast for free. It's the gift that keeps on giving.

I'm gonna go against the grain here and say that Cascade isn't all bells and whistles. It's powerful, for sure, but it adds randomness to your game. Can be frustrating if you're aiming for a very specific strategy and cascade into something less ideal.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
