AttendingStoke路7 months agoDefender means the creature is basically a sitting duck that protects you. It can block but never attacks. Great for building up defenses while you set up your game-winning moves!

In MTG, 'defender' is a keyword ability that means a creature with this ability can't attack. They're like your personal bodyguard that blocks incoming attacks but doesn't run across the battlefield to punch someone in the face.
Just means it can't attack. It's there to block and defend your precious life points. Imagine it as the Gandalf of your deck, shouting 'You shall not pass!' to oncoming attackers.
Defender? Means it's purely defensive. Can't take the fight to your opponent but can stop theirs in its tracks.
