Actually, 'EX' isn't that big of a deal anymore. The game has evolved to include GX and V cards, making EX cards a bit of a relic. Still cool, but not the top tier anymore.

'EX' means you've hit the jackpot with some of the most powerful cards in the game. High risk, high reward, baby!

In the world of Pokemon TCG, 'EX' stands for 'Extra', referring to a powerful class of Pokemon cards that are a cut above the rest. These cards typically feature fully-evolved Pokemon with higher HP and stronger attacks than their regular counterparts. They're a game changer in battles but come with a risk - if an EX card gets knocked out, the opponent takes two Prize cards instead of one. So while they're powerful, they gotta be played smart!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
