In Magic The Gathering, 'Explore' is a keyword action that allows a player to reveal the top card of their library. If it's a land card, they can put it into their hand. If not, the player can put a +1/+1 counter on the creature that explored and then choose to put the revealed card back on top of their library or into their graveyard. It's a great way to get a bit of deck manipulation and an advantage, whether by beefing up your creatures or securing your next land drop. Plus, it feels like you're going on a mini adventure every time you do it!

Explore lets you potentially draw a land or buff a creature and sift through your deck. Simple but powerful!

Honestly, I think Explore is overrated. Sure, it's nice to potentially draw a land or beef up a creature, but it's not game-changing.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
