What does investing do in Fallout 4?
Investing in Fallout 4 is like giving your favorite in-game vendors a cash injection so they can level up their inventory. When you 'invest' in a shop through the 'Cap Collector' perk, you're basically increasing that vendor's available caps. This means they have more money to buy stuff from you and they stock better items for you to purchase. So if you find yourself constantly selling loot or looking for specific gear, investing in vendors makes your Wasteland shopping spree a lot easier and more rewarding.

Investing? More like injecting those post-apocalyptic entrepreneurs with some financial steroids! Here's the deal: you pump caps into their business, and boom, they've got more goodies and gear to sell. Plus, they've got deeper pockets to buy your scavenged treasures. It's a win-win, helping you gear up faster and making the Commonwealth economy thrive. Just remember, it all starts with the Cap Collector perk – no perk, no investment perks!
It's kinda overrated, IMHO. Yeah, you give vendors more caps and they stock better items, but with all the loot around, do you really need to spend perks on this?
Honestly, from my experience, investing in Fallout 4 felt super rewarding. I specifically invested in a vendor I frequented early in the game, and it made a huge difference! Suddenly, I had access to better weapons and armor, which made my exploration and battles a lot easier. Plus, selling my extra loot became way more efficient. Totally recommend it if you're into the whole trading and gearing up aspect of the game.
