It means your controller is charging but not yet fully charged. Once it’s done, the light will turn white.

An orange light on your PS4 controller usually means it's in Rest Mode. It's just napping, waiting for you to wake it back up!

It means the controller is in Rest Mode, but I wouldn't worry about it. Just make sure it's charging.
