In Overwatch, 'mit' means 'mitigation', which refers to the amount of damage a hero can block or absorb using their unique abilities. So, when you're playing a tank like Reinhardt or a support like Zenyatta, you're looking to rack up that mit score by shielding, healing, or otherwise reducing the damage your team takes!

I main Reinhardt, and trust me, hitting those high mit numbers feels like winning a round of tug-of-war against the enemy team!

Simply put, 'mit' is your damage mitigation score. It's nice to know you are saving your teammates' butts!
