Mulligan in Pokemon TCG just means you didn't draw any Basic Pokemon in your starting hand, so you gotta shuffle and redraw. Opponent gets a bonus card for your trouble though. Simple as that.

As a seasoned player, I can tell you mulligans can either be a minor annoyance or a game-losing problem, depending on how your deck is built. Always have enough Basic Pokemon to minimize mulligans. They're not just a do-over; they can give your opponent a serious edge.

In the Pokemon Trading Card Game (TCG), a 'mulligan' is what happens when a player starts a game without any Basic Pokemon cards in their initial hand. Players must then shuffle their hand back into their deck and draw a new set of cards. If it happens again, they keep drawing until they get a Basic Pokemon. The kicker? For each mulligan, the opponent gets to draw an extra card!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
