What does poison do in Pokemon Cards?
AssoilzieingThrow·7 months agoPoison in Pokemon cards slowly drains your soul... just kidding! It actually just deals damage over time. After each player's turn, the poisoned Pokemon gets an extra 10 damage. Handy for wearing down those tough opponents!

In the Pokemon TCG, when a Pokemon is poisoned, you put a poison marker on it. At the end of the owner's turn, the poisoned Pokemon takes one damage counter (which typically equals 10 damage). So, it's a gradual way of chipping away at your opponent's health without needing to attack again.
