Protection in MTG means the card is untouchable by certain things. It's like having an invisible barrier that keeps out all the stuff it's protected from.

Honestly, I think 'protection' in MTG is a bit overrated. Sure, it can be useful in specific scenarios, but it's not the end-all-be-all. A smart strategy and knowing how to counter your opponent's moves matter more.

In MTG, 'protection' is basically your card's super shield against whatever it's protected from. It means the card can't be damaged, enchanted, equipped, blocked, or targeted by anything it has protection from. So, if your creature has protection from red, red spells and red creatures can't touch it. It's like having an allergy but in reverse; the thing you're protected from just can't affect you!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
