Nah, red HP doesn't mean much. It's just a design thing to make shiny or secret rare cards stand out. No big deal in actual play.

I legit freaked out the first time I saw red HP on a card. Thought my Charizard got a sunburn or something. But yeah, it's just a way to mark those shiny and secret rare cards. Makes them feel extra special when you snag one from a pack.

Red HP on Pokemon cards is actually pretty straightforward - it signifies that the Pokemon is a 'shiny' or 'secret rare' version. This doesn't change the card's gameplay stats or abilities; it's all about the cool factor and the rarity. So, if you pull a card with red HP, congrats, you've got something special!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
