Had a bunch in my childhood. They weren't just toys, they were treasures. That red stripe meant you had the real deal. Everyone wanted them.

Redline Hot Wheels are the OGs of the Hot Wheels world, where it all began! They got their name from the thin red line on the tires, exclusive to Hot Wheels produced from 1968 to 1977. Not just any old Hot Wheels, redlines are highly sought after by collectors for their nostalgia and rarity. Think of them as the vintage wine of the Hot Wheels universe.

Totally overrated. Just because it's old doesn't mean it's gold. Modern Hot Wheels have way more variety and cooler features.

Redlines refer to the first Hot Wheels ever made, recognizable by the red stripe on their wheels. A true badge of coolness from back in the day!
