When a soldier is 'shaken' in XCOM 2, it means they suffered a serious mental trauma, reducing their Will and making them more susceptible to panic. Put them on a mission and let them kill aliens to help them recover!

It's annoying, but shaken just means your soldier's mental state is compromised. Throw them into action and let them get some revenge to fix it.

Shaken means your soldier is a little freaked out from a bad mission. Send them back into combat and let them get some kills to recover.

Shaken soldiers have low Will, making them more likely to panic. Get them back on the battlefield and rack up some kills to boost morale!
