'Steam Auth Timeout' is Steam's way of saying it had a hiccup verifying your account in time. Just retry or wait a bit.

Got this error a ton playing multiplayer games. It's all about Steam not validating your account quick enough. What worked for me was restarting Steam or my router. Annoying, but it gets you back into the action quicker!

Oh, the dreaded 'Steam Auth Timeout'! It simply means that Steam couldn't verify your account within a certain timeframe. This usually happens when you're trying to join a server and, boom, you're kicked out because Steam was taking its sweet time. To fix it, you might want to check your internet connection or give it another go after a while. Sometimes, Steam just needs a moment to catch up with itself.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
