Storm Sickness in Fortnite slowly drains your health if you stay in the storm for too long. It’s basically a ‘stay out of the storm or pay the price’ mechanic!

Storm Sickness gives you constant health damage if you spend too much time in the storm. Consider it a not-so-gentle nudge to head for safety!

Storm Sickness is annoying. It punishes you for camping in the storm by dealing continuous damage. Just stay in the safe zone, easy fix!

In my experience, Storm Sickness is Fortnite’s way of saying, 'Move it or lose it!' Your health will keep dropping until you get to safety.

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
