When you 'time out' in Words with Friends, it means you took too long to make your move, and the game declared a forfeit. Gotta be quicker next time!

Timing out happens when your turn expires. Usually, this is 7-10 days of inactivity, so keep your games active!

You snooze, you lose. Time out means you took too long to play, and the game ended.

I've timed out a bunch! It just means you didn't make a move in time, and the game automatically ended.

If you're a Words with Friends player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Words with Friends essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
