When a soldier is tired in XCOM 2, their Will stat drops, making them more susceptible to panic and mind control during missions. Rest them in the barracks to recover!

Tbh, tired just means your super soldier might become a super crybaby in the middle of a fight. Keep 'em rested.

Tiredness in XCOM 2 is basically the game鈥檚 way of telling you to give your squaddies a break. Use fresher troops or risk them becoming walking panic-bombs.
