Honestly, Hunter x Hunter starts getting good right from episode 1. But if you're looking for a specific arc, episode 26 (Heavens Arena) really kicks it up a notch!

Hot take: it was great right from the start. Trust the process; Togashi knows what he's doing!

You've gotta stick around until episode 30. The Hunter Exam arc wraps up, and things get real intense from there!

If you can make it to episode 36, the Yorknew City arc starts and it's an absolute banger. Trust me, you won't want to stop!

For me, it was the Hunter Exam arc that sealed the deal. So, I'd say things get really good around episode 5.
