Honestly, the biggest issue was the change in animation studios. J.C. Staff just couldn't live up to Madhouse's epic first season.

The animation quality took a major hit in Season 2. The first season's fluid and dynamic fight scenes were replaced with more static and choppy ones. Bummer!

Garou鈥檚 character arc was awesome but it felt like they crammed too much into too few episodes. We needed more screen time for the hero hunter!

Hot take: One Punch Man Season 2 wasn't bad, it was just different. Expecting it to be a clone of Season 1 isn't fair.

Honestly, the pacing and story felt a bit slower. Garou鈥檚 arc is cool, but it took a while to get going.
