You’ll need PlayStation Plus to play basically all online multiplayer games, like Call of Duty, FIFA, and Fortnite on PS4 or PS5. The exceptions are free-to-play games like Warframe, Apex Legends, and Warzone—those you can play without PS Plus!

You need PS Plus to play almost all online multiplayer games. Free-to-play games like Fortnite and Apex Legends are an exception, though.

If you're into mainstream titles like Call of Duty or FIFA, you'll need PS Plus for online multiplayer. Just note that games like Fortnite, Apex Legends, and Genshin Impact are free-to-play without a subscription.

Want to play online? PS Plus is your buddy for most games, but free-to-play titles like Fortnite won't make you pay!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
